About Sandra

Sandra was inspired to start swimming after she saw Janet Evans’ Olympic performance in Seoul against the East Germans. While attending an open water safety conference in 2011, she learned about the FINA World Marathon and Ultramarathon series. It was that moment she decided to make it her goal to become a professional athlete.
